Code Corporation to launch Windows® Mobile based PDA barcode reader

Salt Lake City, UT - February 15, 2011 - Code Corporation, an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of image-based barcode readers, announced today that it will launch its newest barcode reader, the Code Reader™ 4100 (CR4100) (buy here from Legacy Technology Services) at the HIMSS 2011 conference, booth #1523, in Orlando, Florida on February 20-24, 2011.

The CR4100 is a slim rugged hand held computer that features leading edge 2D optical barcode reading technology that delivers unparalleled performance and efficiency with a dedicated, on-board processor for decoding barcodes. The CR4100 is available in dark gray or disinfectant-ready health care white, and has a full range of capabilities that are imperative to the mobile worker.

The CR4100 features built-in Windows mobile 6.5 operating system and various wireless options including Bluetooth®, WWAN, and WLAN 802.11 a/b/g. The bright color display includes a touch screen and the ergonomic QWERTY keypad is easy to use in tough environments. To enhance mobility, the CR4100 includes a slim replaceable battery and a desktop cradle that charges both the CR4100 and replacement battery.
