Product Update: Janam Adds Linux Operating System to XG Series


Janam teams with SDG Systems to deliver rugged pistol-grip mobile computer with flexible, open-source technology

Woodbury, NY - January 13, 2014 - Janam Technologies LLC, a leading provider of rugged mobile computers that scan barcodes and communicate wirelessly, and SDG Systems, a leader in developing and supporting Linux system software and implementing Google Android (AOSP) solutions on rugged and embedded devices, announced today that Linux operating system is now available on Janam XG Series devices.  The Linux operating system fully supports the features of the XG Series and a wide variety of convenient programming tools through the Yocto Project.
