Datamax-O'Neil Great Ribbon GPR Plus Premium Wax Ribbon
GPR Plus is a high quality, general-purpose thermal transfer resin enhanced wax ribbon. Its excellent imaging properties and back coating make it an ideal ribbon for a wide variety of applications and substrates delivering dark, durable images. It has a specially designed back coating to compensate for the special demands of wide web thermal transfer printers (greater than 4.5”) as well as high-speed applications. GPR Plus is good for printing on spun bound olefin (Tyvek®) and prints a darker image than most ribbons. GPR Plus is recommended for most general-purpose retail and industrial applications. This ribbon is approved for indirect food contact.
Usage:
- Melting Point: 169°F (76°C) ± 5°F
- Storage Temperature: 41°F to 95°F (5°C to 35°C) at 20% to 85% Relative Humidity
- Avoid high temperature, high humidity and direct sunlight during storage
- Recommended Shelf Life: one year
Application Notes:
- Recommended for general purpose retail and industrial labeling.
- Carton labeling, product identification, UPC/EAN labels, AIAG, LOGMARS, price marking, item tracking, work-in-progress, many other applications requiring a high quality image and medium grade durability at an economical price.
- IR and visible light scannable.
- Good scratch and smear resistance.
- Good for printing with wide web printers (greater than 4.5”).
- Prints on spun bound olefin (Tyvek®).
