Honeywell’s IS4225 is a versatile, compact and wearable automatic single-line laser scanner that improves productivity with a host of features.

The IS4225 is compact in size and can be easily mounted in tight spaces. Built-in object detection triggers the IS4225 to automatically scan bar codes that enter the scan zone. This functionality makes the IS4225 ideal for presentation scanning in retail or other unattended applications.

When worn on the back of a hand with an optional Velcro glove and connected to a mobile data terminal, the IS4225 becomes a wearable scanner which increases operator mobility and productivity. The wearable kit is equipped with a breakaway cable which quickly disconnects, should a hazardous situation arise.

The advanced decoding algorithms in the IS4225 decodes all standard 1D symbologies with speed and accuracy. The scanner has an ultrawide scan angle which allows wide bar codes to be scanned close to the face of the scanner. With the simple scan of a few programming codes, the scanner can be reconfigured in the field.

The IS4225 offers users a choice of interfaces, including RS232, keyboard wedge, light pen emulation or USB. Together with its powerful performance and feature set, the IS4225 is the scanning solution of choice for light duty retail, inventory and kiosk applications.
