Designed for high traffic and transaction volume retail environment, the iSC Touch 480 glass display is highly resistant to impacts and scratching, with a lifespan of 1,000,000 signatures. The device is fully equipped to handle all forms of electronic payment: EMV chip card, magnetic stripe, signature capture, and NFC/contactless. Also, the device fully supports new payment options such as NFC loyalty and couponing, wallets, and QR codes. Its magnetic stripe reader (two magnetic heads) reduces the risk of read errors, and significantly increases transaction speed. The EMV smartcard reader is built for 500,000 card insertions. The iSC Touch 480 is among the first POS devices in to meet PCI PTS V4 hardware and software security requirements, and complies with SRED and Open protocol modules.
