Pragma Stay-Linked Thin Client: SSH-Telnet Client

Due to its host-based design, Stay-Linked Thin-Client Terminal Emulation software for 5250/3270, VT100/220 and SSHv2 Host Applications offers better performance, reliability and security when compared to legacy “device-side” terminal emulation products. It also provides unique Centralized Configuration and Advanced Terminal Session Management functionality for the help desk with the included Stay-Linked Administrator GUI Console application.

With Stay-Linked, the user’s session runs on the host (not on the device) with only a small thin-client on the device to provide access to it. When disruptions in wireless host access occur (e.g. out of range, congested network, dead battery, etc.), the user is automatically returned to the same host-resident session, screen and cursor position where they were immediately prior to the disruption – no gateways or proxy servers needed. Also, centralized help desk staff can still interact and manage the user’s session running on the host (monitor, share, take-over, transfer, etc.) at all times – whether or not the user’s device can access the host or is disabled altogether.
