The B-EX4T1 is the next generation of thermal printer to replace the B-SX4.

The B-EX4T1 is the culmination of combining proven technology, features and over 15 years of Toshiba TEC innovation. Incorporating the features of the B-SX and applying new technology and features to the B-EX4T1, makes the printer top of its class.

The B-EX4T1 has increased memory, double the amount of the B-SX4. Along with USB and LAN ports as standard, the B-EX4T1 also offers a variety of optional interfaces and connectivity that includes wireless LAN, serial and parallel. Continuing the most advanced thermal head technology in the industry, the B-EX4T1 uses near edge print head and a choice of 203 or 305dpi. One of the many new features, the operator display has been update to a 128 x 64 dot LCD graphical display that will display current job status and detailed error conditions. Another new feature is lower power consumption when printing or in standby, almost 70% less than the B-SX in standby mode (see specifications for full details). These features and technology makes the B-EX4T1 a perfect combination of performance, rugged and hard working printer to be a perfect addition to a wide range of markets.

It is fully compatible with the B-SX range, allowing for the swift migration of legacy printers. In addition, advanced processing capabilities facilitate high throughput.

• The B-EX range boasts further sophisticated features: data logging function; internal file storage; automatic thermal print head DPI detection; LAN address display; simple LAN set-up; graphical sensor threshold on display; auto-home position function; firmware update via external memory; ribbon wrinkle cancelling (to reduce paper and ribbon wastage).

• Continuing on from the easy operation of the SX range, the B-EX range also incorporates a user-replaceable snap-in print head and platen roller, further reducing maintenance costs. The unique intuitive graphical LCD ‘helpdesk’ display improves usability and prompts even the novice user to take immediate corrective action where necessary, keeping user training to a minimum.
